Poochie Parlour is based in Arbury Court, Cambridge

We are a family run business with mother and daughter being the pet groomers. We pride ourselves in making sure that your beloved pet receives no less that the best possible care and attention during their time with us. Being animal lovers makes our job easy and enjoyable so you can be sure that the atmosphere will make it a pleasurable experience for the animals and owners alike.

Maxine and Chelsey being the mother and daughter team both hold advanced international diplomas in dog grooming, as well as animal first aid, health and safety, and running a business. Chelsey holds an additional National Diploma in animal management. We are experienced in all areas of grooming including the specialist area of hand stripping. We pride ourselves in specialising in being able to give helpful advice in most of your animals needs.

Our spare time is taken up with our own pets, let us introduce them to you:

Here we have our dogs Scampy and Lily, Lily is a standard silver Yorkshire Terrier, and Scampy is a Jack Russell X Beagle.

Our time is spent with them dog training, flyball, agility, and companion dog shows, where they have many accolades to their bows (or collars).

They are both rescue dogs and we feel lucky that they allow us to live with them.

 Next we have the two chatter boxes of the family:

     This is chucky, a mustached parakeet, who will talk your head off

 This is Paulie, a Hahns Macaw, who is very talkative too

Last of all meet William, our beloved Yorkshire Terrier who passed away on 12/12/06 aged 17 years. R.I.P William. We all love and miss you.

Our retail section has many wonderful goodies for your pet whether it be a new collar, lead, T shirt, coat or just a yummy treat. But let us not forget the owners, yes, why not spoil yourself or your animal loving friend. With; fleece blankets, fridge magnets, plush toys etc, we have something for everyone at Poochie Parlour.
